KAITLYN GARDNER

RYAN DAVIE

Ryan Davie is currently in his fifth year at The Pennsylvania State University studying Architectural Engineering.  Over the past five years, Ryan has accumulated knowledge and experience to aide his future endeavors as a mechanical consultant and commissioning engineer.  Prior to his fourth year, Ryan  interned with Penn State’s Office of Physical Plant Continuous Commissioning program, where he gained experience in a variety of different projects in an effort to decrease the campus’s energy consumption.  Ryan has also interned with Barton Associates Inc. in York, PA, where he will be returning to work full time post graduation as a mechanical designer.  For his senior thesis project, Ryan participated in the AEI student design competition, where he learned to work and collaborate as a team with the other disciplines of the building industry.  He looks forward to his future career as a designer and would like to thank his family, friends, and faculty who have helped him along the way.

Kaitlyn Gardner is currently a fifth year Architectural Engineering student in the mechanical option at The Pennsylvania State University. She is a past officer of the United States Green Building Council as well as the current Treasurer of the Penn State's Student Branch of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Throughout the course of her fifth year at Penn State, she participated in the AEI Student Competition in cohesion with her senior capstone project. Kaitlyn has completed two internships with exp U.S. Services in Orlando, Florida and will be returning as a full time Mechanical Designer upon graduation. In the past, she has also completed an architecture internship with TKS Architects in Mechanicsburg, PA and was involved in ACE mentor program, gaining excellent teamwork skills when interacting and developing solutions with licensed senior architects. Kaitlyn also is a member of the Olympic Weightlifting Club Team at Penn State.
